What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is a beautiful slow moving exercise that calms the mind and body to open into a greater experience of energy flow. It has roots in the martial arts and has been used as a defense system. Today Tai Chi is used more as a moving meditation, building awareness and spiritual perspective.

Your Tai Chi practice will help you develop strength and agility with a calm mental attitude. It also serves to reduce stress and increase your stamina. Like the famous yin/yang symbol, Tai Chi, teaches the spirit of balance in a system that has roots in the wisdom of the East.

Gayl Hubatch provides Tai Chi classes in Lakeway Activity Center on Tuesdays & in Lakeway Park on Thursdays from 7.30 am - 8.30 am  and is also available for private consultations on your Tai Chi practice. To schedule a private consultation contact Gayl via e-mail or at (512) 266-2059.
